In memory
Sadly, not every dog is saved. Even with these treatments, the odds of saving a dog drop dramatically in the latter stages. Some dogs get treatment too late. Some do not respond. Here are their stories.
Claire-Bear from the Philippines
Bella the 6 month Blue Heeler
Kila
Millie from East Texas
Received NDV spinal tap on Aug. 23, 2011. Died Sept. 20, 2011.
Mitzi, a terrier mix from Baytown, Texas, was treated with serum just before developing neuro problems. Died May 4, 2011.
Other names of dogs that have been lost, but this is by no means a complete list:
Shelby
Fozzie
Bailey
Chloe
If anyone would like your dog’s name added to the list, with a short item and photo, let me know at ed.bond.new.york@gmail.com.

Hi Ed,
Thank you VERY much for remembering Bailey. It’s been almost a year since she passed away, and we continue to miss her every day. The three weeks we took care of her were one of the most emotional and rewarding Weeks of our lives.
Thank you for continuing your mission against distemper. You can always count with our full support.
